About the College for Creative Change

Learning can change the way you see yourself and what you believe is possible.

It can give you the confidence to ask a difficult question, the courage to speak out and the skills to turn an idea into action. It can open up a path you never knew was there.

That is what we are building at the College for Creative Change.

A different way into learning

Our founder left school with no qualifications and went on to gain a PhD. His pathway was difficult and chaotic. That experience is at the heart of the College for Creative Change: a determination to create the opportunities he wished he had, and more.

Too many young people are given up on, put into boxes or left feeling that their choices are already limited. Those experiences can follow us through life, affecting our confidence and the opportunities we feel able to pursue.

We want to help people recognise their abilities, discover new ones and take their next steps with confidence. Belief in yourself matters. So does access to clear guidance, encouragement and meaningful opportunities.

Our ambition brings together the depth of a university education, the freedom to explore and practical skills for life.

Room to question. Courage to speak.

Learning begins with curiosity. What does that mean? How do we know? Whose experience is missing? Is there another way?

Critical thinking gives us ways to explore those questions: looking closely at evidence, recognising assumptions, considering different perspectives and being ready to rethink our own ideas.

At the College for Creative Change, we are developing high quality learning that makes challenging ideas accessible. Clear explanations and practical experiences help people understand unfamiliar language, know what is expected and build confidence in their own thinking.

Alongside that comes the courage to use your voice. You can express an idea, challenge an injustice, ask for help or stand up for someone else. Listening carefully and making space for others are part of that courage too.

Skills for life

Creativity, communication, collaboration and change run through our approach.

We want people to leave a learning experience with something they can use: a clearer way to communicate, a fresh approach to a problem, greater confidence working with others or the ability to make a more informed decision.

These are skills for work, relationships, communities and everyday life. They help us take part, make choices and create change.

The College for Creative Change is growing from this ambition: to connect curiosity with opportunity, and learning with a more just, compassionate and imaginative world.

Bring your curiosity. Discover what you can do with it.
